Hey, Logan, I finished that book that you gave me to read! You have the next one, right? Or is it at home? Could you get it for me? Talk about addicting - I forgot my Transfigurations homework over the weekend and had to rush through it this morning... sorry Professor Lupin! It's not the best...
Rose asked me to the dance, so that's cool. I'm glad I can go with someone I know better. Ari and Albus, are you two going together? Darius is going with Sophie, so we'll really just be a big group of friends going together.
Vicky and Jaxon asked me to perform at the dance. I told my parents and my Mum is... well, more than ecstatic. It's like I'm getting married - she's that excited. Sigh. But I've got to talk to Gid and Logan and see what they're planning. Do you two have anything planned yet? I'm going to need some help, obviously. Like a guitarist or two would be awesome...

And we're officially back in school. The food at the sorting ceremony was twice as good as it usually is, I swear, but maybe that's was only because last night my Mum tried her hand at cooking. Let's just say that it should be the last time.
It was a sad few hours, those spent on the train. It always is... listening to the Pod for the last time in some odd months. And just as you get through the barrier to Hogwarts the screen just goes blank - never to turn on again until you leave. Christmas Break, please come fast.
I can already hear the seventh year boys screaming in their dorms; seems like it's the start of a wild year. Classes start tomorrow, get excited you guys, another year has begun.
